Part-time Ticket Services Associate
The Ordway: The Ordway is the arts epicenter of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and one of the leading nonprofit performing arts centers in the country. Founded on the belief that performing arts should be wide-ranging and accessible to all, the Ordway is home to a variety of performances that encompass the finest in Broadway musicals, concerts, dance, and vocal artists. Known as the most comfortable place to catch a show in Minnesota, the Ordway includes a magnificent 1,900-seat Music Theater, a state-of-the-art 1,100-seat Concert Hall and spacious lobbies. Position Purpose: The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is seeking part-time Ticket Services Associates with an aptitude for technology to learn how to use our ticket software, to process transactions, and provide exceptional customer service for our patrons. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a high-activity atmosphere, solving problems, making conversation, and building relationships. These roles will work during performances on nights and weekends to support the variety of events at the Ordway. Scheduling is as needed based on the event calendar; evening and weekend availability is required.

Key Performance Areas:
- Become proficient in using AudienceView. To process transactions including single, group, and subscription ticket sales
- Contribute to data integrity by accurately entering information into AudienceView and completing data projects as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Ordway programming, processes, and policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service according to the Ordway’s service standards and guidelines to ensure the Ordway experience.
- Participate in revenue generating efforts including upselling, cross-selling, donation requests, and other sales and marketing campaigns.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned that support the success and business needs of the Ordway.
- Provide Ticket Services support for Ordway, Rental, and Arts Partner events which may include ticket distribution, sales, and customer service resolution.
- Accurately handle cash transactions and reconcile sales with end of day reports.
Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of sales or customer service experience required. In person sales experience preferred.
- Computer ticketing and experience preferred, experience with AudienceView ticketing software a plus.
- High degree of sensitivity for confidentiality.
- Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse community populations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to operate software including basic Outlook email functions), Teams, Excel, Word, and internal phone system.
- Elementary math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
